Kindle’s New Tablet PC
Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 | Amazon, Books, Business, Tablet PC

Taken from techcrunch the other day, it appears that amazon is about to release their own version of a tablet pc, similar to the iPad, but different in so many ways…primarily in that it’s only going to be offered in one size: 7″.
So smart of them if they end up sticking to it. Keeps them out of the competition with the other tablets and brings it back to the debate that still goes on regarding whether or not folks should buy a kindle or an iPad to take on trips, read books, etc.. It’ll keep it cheap (definitely cheaper than the iPad), sticks to what they’re known for being one of the best at (hardware ebook reader, especially when comparing it and the whole glare factor to reading a book on the iPad), and hell, it’s not as bulky, meaning you don’t need to carry it like it was it’s own laptop, you can slip it into your bag/purse/whatever much easier than most of the tablets currently on the market. Genius.
Here’s the link to the article going a little more in depth with the Amazon Tablet
